MASSAGE THERAPIST

Coordinates the appointments for the patients and determine the medical history and the effects that is wishes to see from the massage. Determine what type of massage will be perform for the patient benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English

  • Healthcare environment orientation

  • Organizational skill

  • Basic computer knowledge, MS Word and MS Excel

  • Customer Service Skills

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • License Massage Therapist Accreditation

ABILITIES/SKILLS

  • Excellent communication, Customer Service and telephone skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.

  • Detail oriented and able to work efficiently in a stressful environment.

  • Strong sense of teamwork.

  • Able to respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

  • Must be able to work with the Practice Management System.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Must be able to follow policies and procedure.
